Karakal star Greg Lobban, capped an impressive week's squash with a dominant display in the Pembroke Management Open de Montreal, at the Club Sportif MAA in Canada.
Top seed Greg saw off 2nd seed Nathan Lake 3-0 (11-8, 11-5, 11-8) with an impressive 35 minute performance to claim the trophy.
The two players went into the match separated by just two spots in the PSA world rankings, with Greg at No.23 and Nathan at No.25.
The Englishman had won their last head-to-head encounter, back in 2021, after three previous defeats to Greg, but it was the Scot who came out on top this time in Quebec. All three games followed a similar pattern, with little to separate the two players in the opening rallies, before Greg pulled clear in the closing stages.
The victory ended a dominant week for the Scottish No.1, who dropped only one game en route to glory, securing the 13th PSA Tour title of his career, and his first since 2022.
