Joel, Greg and Tesni lead Karakal Challenge at the 2024 British Nationals

Welsh National Champions Joel Makin and Tesni Murphy will be joined by Scottish National Champion Greg Lobban in Karakal's assault on the 2024 British National Squash Championships, which will take place at St George’s Hill Lawn Tennis Club in Weybridge from 14th to 18th August.

2021 champion Joel will be looking to wrestle his title back from two times defending champion Mohamed ElShorbagy, whilst world no.17 Greg, who comes into the event in the best form of his life, will be attempting to become the first Scot in 20 years to lift the coveted trophy.

In the women’s event, former champion Tesni will be aiming to add to her 2018 and 2019 successes in a strong draw that includes world no.7 Georgina Kennedy, defending champion Jasmine Hutton and three-time winner Sarah-Jane Perry.

A further trio of Karakal players will be competing in the qualifying event. Welsh no.2 Emyr Evans, England's Hasnaat Farooqi and former Scottish National Champion Alison Thomson will all be fighting hard to book their spot in the main draw.
