Karakal Double at 2023 Scottish National Squash Champions

Congratulations to Karakal's Greg Lobban and Alison Thomson for becoming the men's and women's 2023 Scottish National Squash Champions, respectively, over the weekend.

It's always impressive to see athletes excel in their sport, and as top seeds in the event Greg and Ally had a little added pressure. However, in the finals of the event, that was staged at the at the Newlands Lawn Tennis Club in Glasgow, Greg defeated 2nd seed Douglas Kempsell 3-0 (11-4, 11-5, 11-6) and Ally overcame 5th seed Senga Macfie with an equally emphatic 3-0 (11-5, 11-4, 11-6) win.

Winning a National Championship is a significant achievement and Karakal are so proud to be involved with such talented players.
