Bexley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club recently played hosts to the 2022 London Open Racketball Championships and the tournament was rife with talent, all challenging for the notorious title.
The A grade featured regular faces, along with two members of #KarakalKrew, Amber Marshall and Michael Robinson.
The competition was tight, with a few close matches going the distance in tie-breaker games. Ultimately, it was Michael Robinson who earned his way to the final and found himself against the home-favourite, Billy Jones. The partisan crowd did as much as they could to disturb Michael's winning form, but it wasn't enough as he was crowned champion after a convincing 11-3 and 11-4 victory.
Congratulations to Michael and Amber for wonderful performances in the tournament, and a notable mention to another Karakal athlete, Luke Bishop, for turning out in the B grade playing left-handed after an injury pre-tournament to his favoured right-arm.
