Kaitlyn Watts is another young star from New Zealand who has made her way into the PSA world’s top 100.
In 2017, Kaitlyn made the quarter finals of the Fitzherbert Rowe Lawyers NZ International Classic in only her third tour event, before also making the same stage of the Pacific Toyota Cairns Squash International.
These notable performances were followed up the next year with a final appearance at the Court Tech Women’s PSA Classic.
Another finals appearance followed at the Inspirenet International Squash Classic in 2019, before she chose to take an 18 month break from the tour.
Kaitlyn hit the ground running on her return to the Tour in 2021 and it was not long before she recorded the first win of her career, taking the title at the Royal Oak Open. Two more titles followed in quick succession, success at the Waikato Open was followed with the Panmure Open crown, beating compatriot Emma Millar in all three finals. These performances saw her enter the top 100 for the first time.
